Waste collection is a logistics problem in a municipal uniform. Where are the vehicles, which routes are finished, which are running late, and is the crew where the schedule says it is. The person who needs those answers is a supervisor holding a phone in a moving vehicle, not an analyst at a desk.
A mobile app designed screen by screen, starting with the flows rather than the visuals. Onboarding gets a new crew member working in a handful of taps. A live tracking map shows vehicles as they move. A collection-route map shows what has been covered and what is still outstanding. A fleet dashboard reduces the day to a small number of figures a supervisor can read at a glance.
The states nobody demos were designed too: loading, empty, offline, and the one that matters most in this product, late. An operations tool is judged on the bad day, not the good one.
Everything is built for one hand and poor conditions: large targets, contrast that survives direct sunlight, and the most-used action always inside thumb reach. This was a design engagement, so what you see here are the screens as delivered, complete with the component library behind them.
