Metro makes wood-look porcelain tiles and sells them as India's number one wooden tiles brand, into six markets. A buyer in Melbourne, Munich or Kuala Lumpur is looking at the same product as a buyer in Morbi, but arrives with different units, different expectations and a different reason to trust it.
A site designed and developed for six country editions, so each market gets its own version rather than a single page trying to speak to everyone. The collection is navigated by size and format first, which is how this product is actually specified: chevron, diamante and plank formats each get their own route.
Export sits as its own section for trade enquiries, alongside sustainability, media and a download area for catalogues and technical sheets.
Six regional editions is a content problem long before it is a design one. The structure lets one catalogue serve every market without a separate site to maintain per country, which is the difference between a system that lasts and six that drift apart.
